It gets a lot worse than that, there was Hofman, Hofmann, Hoffman, Hoffmann, Haufmann, Hauptmann etc.. This particular one has not published dates of serial numbers.

No-one anywhere will give you a valid valuation without on-the-spot inspection to torque-test every tuning pin and check the pitch, regulation, downbearing etc., and internal condition.
