Hillier Piano from Brunt & Sons

Hi! I'm trying to figure out a date for my piano. I've searched on this forum and have found a little bit of information on one or the other of these two names but it's not helping me date my piano. If you open the keyboard cover, it's stamped with "W. Brunt & Sons, 9 St. Augustine's Parade, Bristol" but if you open the top lid it says "The Hillier Piano Company" (with the word Company abbreviated). There are no serial numbers to be found inside. I've looked everywhere that has been suggested in this forum and suggested links. The iron frame has 2 numbers on it but one was stamped "No. 1" and the other was just "383". Any help would be appreciated. :)

The music desk you mention is just the usual fold-away overhanging desk. If you have a look at my Edwardian page at

you will see that this is typical of Edwardian pianos, and I would guess this one was made around 1908. Hillier was the manufacturer, Brunt was the retailer. Unless there are any date-marks inside

there is no way of dating it more precisely, and even if it had serial numbers, it wouldn't help, because no dates are available for Hillier pianos.
