What was #1 on the day you were born
Post by Spiritinthersky »
Bit of fun here, have you ever done this?
My number #1's are:
'You're So Vain' by Carly Simon in the US
'Long Haired Lover From Liverpool' by Little Jimmy Osmond in the UK
'Ben' by Michael Jackson in Australia

'Two Little Boys' by Rolf Harris, who, if the news is to be believed, has been the naughty one of those two boys....

I used to like Gaye Bykers on Acid, they are no more but there's a tribute band doing the rounds that call themselves Lesbian Dopeheads on Mopeds!!

I was going to post a reply but there's no answer to that...

Rightie ho, back to the title of this thread then, folks. How on earth did I manage to deviate that much onto old 90s bands with obscurely outlandish names. And I don't even like Two Little Boys. If she'd had me a week earlier it would have been Sugar Sugar, a couple of weeks later 'Love Goes where my Rosemary Goes'.

I realise that this may be heresy, but...I DON'T LIKE ELVIS. I wish I'd been borned a different week.... The first song my dad heard on the wireless after he heard about me being borned was '76 Trombones In The Hit Parade'. Not sure about that, either...
I play for my own amazement...
Re: What was #1 on the day you were born
One for the twisted lyrics thread that one, 76 Trombones played the big parade, with a hundred and ten (ice-cream) cornets close at hand. From 'The Music Man'. No I don't like Elvis either. I think he's saft.
