Schulze Piano Age

Post by ma.callegaro »

Hello,
I would like to know in what year my piano was made. Here follow some information that could help:
the metal tag plate with manufacture name is missing but there is a painting name instead of it: SHULZE;
there is also an indication on the rigth side of the keyboard: Sold by HOPKINSOSN Successors, LTD. LEEDS;
the following serial number are presente inside, on the left side: 19067 and HS14084.
The keyboar is 7 octaves, 85 notes A-A.
Sconces were present but they have been removed.

I hope that these information can help enough.
Thank you in advance!

Before I start looking through thousands of entries, are you sure about the spelling of SHULZE?

The H*S number only tells me that they sold it after 1934.

The only Schulze I know of is American, and I doubt they were sold over here, so my guess is that this is one of many fake German-sounding names used by retailers, and untraceable.

There may be clues inside, see

Can you post some photos to show us what the WHOLE piano looks like, or email them to me?
