Weber

Post by Steve071261 »

Hi,

anybody out there with opinions or experience with modern Weber pianos, especially the grands?

I understand they are Chinese, but can be made into decent pianos with proper regulation and voicing. What is involved in that, how long would it be likely to take and what sort of cost for the work, for a middle-sized grand?

Any help, much appreciated,

Steve

If you get the larger Grand 6'1" you can make a reasonable piano out of them but even with a lot of TLC the actions have there limit all depends on your playing skill

I was looking at new 4'11" Broadwood made by the Chinese playing wise it was very good tone wise the Bass was lacking but at 4'11" you will have this problem the treble was not bad at all

Thanks Barrie,

useful advice as ever. I'll cross it off my list, then,
