George Garcka piano maker

Post by beryl »

I believe I am a decendent of George Garka & I would like any info on his family.
I have him in Directories from 1785 to 1795 in St.James Westminster London.
I also have some Baptisms and Marriages of what appears to be 2 George Garckas, in the late 1700s.
Any help would be welcome.

I would be interested to hear again from descendants of George Garcka, and to compare notes on what we know of him.

Also of interest is any information about surviving instruments by Garcka but, of course, he still suffers from the problem that happened 200 years ago, people spell his name wrong.
