B Squire & Son - How old?
Post by piano_parisa »
Hello, I have a B Squire & Son upright piano with a serial number of 22508, any information would be helpful! I understand that it is near impossible to put an exact date on the piano, and I don't really have that much info on it, so not expecting much :D
Thanks very much :)

If it was made by Kemble it may be around 1925, but without photos, it is impossible to know, they claimed to have made pianos from 1829 onwards, although they were not listed in London directories until 1834, and the earliest Squire pianos I have heard of are from the 1860s. More modern ones were made by Kemble.
