Which hammer/socket for old square taper tuning pins?
(Apologies if this gets posted twice. First attempt seemed to vanish into thin air)
Can anyone advise what hammer/socket I need for tuning j.b. cramer upright (s/n circa 27,000)?
Tuning pin spec:-
Profile: square
Projection: 14mm (beyond string)
Taper: 5.0mm to 6.0mm in 14mm
Should any mid-range square hole hammer/socket work or do I need to be more precise (= expensive) when buying a tool?

Thanks for the welcome and pointers.
I've emailed F & N to find out the dimmensions of their small star.
P.S. What are '00' pins? Is/was that a standard size? I cant find any mention on internet.

There is 6/0 as well but they are awful to tune with Then you have the different lengths as well
When i first started restring I was told
if 0/0 put in 2/0
if 1/0 out in 3/0
if 2/0 put in 4/0
if 3/0 put in a new plank
And always chalk the new pins
