Collard & Collard age
I am Marcos Ramirez from Costa Rica, Central America, I traying rebuilt an very old upright Collar&Collard, cage bird action, carved legs, but I can not find the serial number.
I deeply appreciate your help in this case, this is a fantastic instrument with all original parts.

The numbers are probably inside the top lefthand end like this example, I would be interested to know what they are. I doubt if this would have a "birdcage" action, it looks like something from the 1870s. Have a look at
