John Brinsmead & Son #66433

Post by anne33 »

Hello,

Could someone help with the age of my piano.

It was made by John Brinsmead & Son , with serial number 66433.

It has the original company stamp under the top lid, which says

"established in the reign of King William IV"

Thank you

The number suggests that your piano was made in 1912, but most pianos have several numbers inside, so without photos, it is difficult to know if this is likely. You may find the following link helpful...

Brinsmead pianos usualy have iliustrations of medals they received at exhibitions, and if you can read the years on them, this will give some guide to the latest one shown.
