Horace G.Brinsmead serial number 2710
Hi
I've just acquired a Horace G.Brinsmead upright piano with serial number 2710 but can't find any history. It had a 1911 one penny coin inside it but this doesn't age it. Anyone have any ideas? I can email a picture if anyone is able to help !
Many thanks, James

As far as I am aware, it is not possible to date H.G.Brinsmead pianos by their numbers, but if you could upload photos of the whole piano here, or email them to me, I may be able to estimate its age.

I would guess that the piano was made around 1920. Horace was one of the sons of the more famous John Brinsmead. The spring-and-loop action in this one is very much in the style of the other Brinsmead.
