Dale Forty Piano

My wife and i have inherited a 5 octave piano. it has Dale Forty on the front of it and inside at the top it has the number 41576 stamped in the wood. Any information would be greatly appreciated. All the best Gus

Dale Forty made five-octave pianos in the twenties, C-C, and some with 68 notes F-C. Some of them were so-called "Jacobean Models" with barley-twist legs and oak finish. They were made by several factories, so I can't offer you a date for the number, very similar pianos have quite different numbers, for example #43250 is thought to be about 1928, but #19750 is very similar.

Any further clues will be hidden inside...
