Collard numbers
Can anyone help me with numbers and dates found in Collard pianos, or real, hard evidence of the dates of any of their numbers pre-1870. (I am assuming that nobody will insult me by offering the efforts of Michel & Pierce on the subject.) In view of the enormous number of Collard pianos that are around, it is amazing that hardly any of the early ones have dates.
