The only thing Pierce's Piano Atlas has to say is that it was made in Vienna.

Does anyone know more about Edmund Luner pianos from Vienna Austria besides what is in the Pierce Piano Atlas? Is this a fairly well known piano in Europe?

Unless Bill has any information, - there is nothing, and referring to the previous post made nearly 5 years ago, I myself looked the name up - and only the word "Vienna" is written - no address, factory name, serial numbers - nothing.
There is also no blue-book as such that tells you the history about any specific piano.... in fact, the history will be right in front of you - your own piano. In this case, just a name is not sufficient. Many piano companies closed in the early 1900's - and some destroyed in the wars.
If you are planning on selling your piano - we cant give valuations here, as we dont know its condition, so you are required to book a piano tuner who will tune it and assess it for you. However, we may be able to provide some general info/ approx age of your piano if you download some photos to us (one per post) - lid open, full view of piano, and another photo of the inside of the piano - with the front board completely removed - showing the mechanism inside.
Generally speaking though - I had never heard of Edmund Tuner until now, and many old pianos dated around the early 1900's sell for very little, unless it has been restored?
Hope that helps....
