Dukla piano
This is an excellent 1914s-ish German,u/r,o/s/ etc. Langer action. Sounds sort of east European but my buyer who is German suggests it may an acronym of " Dusseldorf Klavier " factory.
There are 3 shields cast in the frame--1890,1900 and 1902,one of which is Dusseldorf and he feels the shield is like the Dusseldorf city aerms.
Any ideas anyone?

Apart from being a town in Poland, Dukla is not one I know Vernon, but the Langer number should be there somewhere, and I may be able to date that.

Re: Dukla piano
I'm quite comfy with the age.. It's such good quality that I'm surprised I've never come across one.
It has a third pedal but the mechanism is missing but looks as tho' there was some sort of celeste working over the top. There are various unexplained scews. Not seen that either
