Leswein piano
I've just got a lovely 1960s -ish upright piano which is called a " Leswein.)
The label on the keyframe (no date visible) is indeed for "Leswein." The name is a transfer
It's well made and stands in tune well.Nothing schweinig about it. Made in my youth but I've never heard of it. Any ideas?

It was made by Renn, London. In about 1905, Renn were taken over by Brooks Ltd., who made piano actions, then they used the name Leswein and various other aliases. The Leswein name was still in use at least into the fifties.

By about 1970, Renn pianos were made by Kemble.
