The Mrs had a baby on Friday

Not a baby grand but a real baby.
Yep I became a dad on Friday to beautiful little Sally.
Mum and baby both doing very well.
Time for a month off work methinks
Thankfully august is very quiet. Never thought I'd hear myself be happy for a quiet month!

Many congratulations Mark - She's adorable. Good to hear of someone's good news in these terrible times of riots and the like. Glad it wasn't a grand...giving birth to something with three legs and a lyre weighing whatever a baby grand weighs wouldn't be much fun. Although it probably felt not dissimilar, i should imagine. Wishing you much joy...and some sleep.
