The reason for my asking is that I'll be receiving it in part-exchange in the next week or 2.
Did the Mickleburgh piano shop MAKE these pianos?
Or just repolish an old Stencil piano and then put their own name on the front?
Or something else?

THANKS :)

Its a stencil. They do it to a lot of pianos when they strip. The photo looks like a standard old straightstrung with a modernised case (used to be a nice traditional case with panels, straight legs etc.)
Looks like a burn item to me.

Do we know if Mickleburgh put their sign on it at the point of manufacture or if they perhaps renamed old stencil pianos with their own name?

The previous owner of this piano bought it from Mickleburgh in the 1970s. Obviously the piano wasn't new in the 70s which made me think it could have been repo usher and rebadged by that shop.

Try asking Bill on the History thread. Any dates on the end key?
I play for my own amazement... :piano;
