Prince & Son, New York

I have not been able to find out anything about my upright piano. Inside it says Prince and Son. New york. the serial number is 12570. Has anyone heard of this company?

There were piano firms in NY called Prince, but no dates of serial numbers are availabe, and I have not heard of Prince & Son. All I can suggest is local history sources in New York. If you can post some photos here, or email them to me, I may be able to say a little more about it.
