G.Wolkenhauer - Stettin
To all those interested in this firm may I suggest to look at a Polish (Stettin belonged to Germany and was ceded to Poland in 1945, now called Szczecin) site - I of course do not know any Polish- but even so I found a lot of information in Google's rather bad English translation :

Dear Bill
I am re-posting the full link- hope it works this time
By the way, the tuner\technician has progressed about 80% on its tuning and adjustments-it is
already sounding great, having a strong and beautiful sound... Link:

Thanks, but being a piano historian rather than a computer person, I haven't a clue how to get it translated, however badly!

Thanks. There are a lot of websites that want to show off what they can offer, but don't bother to scan documents properly, and rely in basic OCR, so although sites like oocities have taken on material from the old geocities, they haven't improved it, and it's frustrating that potentially valuable information is often unreadable.
