Joseph Gramer Piano

Post by darreng »

I'm curious if you know some background on a piano I just received. It is an upright by Joseph Gramer of Boston with the serial number 5454. Any information you could provide would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

As I didn't hear from you, I wonder if you received my email. I thought this was a mispelling of Cramer, but the numbers for Joseph Gramer suggest 1907. Being based in the UK, we have no other information.

Bill,

Thank you for the quick reply. I'm fairly sure it says Joseph Gramer of Boston and that date would fit with the design style of the piano. Thank you for the information.

Darren :)
