The way the site is run and who can have access has not changed just the domain name can't see what all the fuss is about. This is the 3rd domain name change the UK Piano Page has had in 15 years

People wanting info about their piano won't be put off by the new domain. If anything a forum full of piano tuners is the perfect place to ask such questions. So I don't see a problem.
It is non-tuners and non-teachers who help fund this site by visiting the forum and clicking on those adverts. So for the funding reason it makes sense to nurture non-industry piano enthusiasts. Not that I know how the site is funded of course.

I think you're hiding your light under a bushel, Mark!
I was also watching you try out a P121NT - there was a bit more to that piano playing than the piano's... let's see....ahem, "nice goo.. good tribble" and its "good crisp bess" whatever that is!
I just laughed!
