Allison Piano

Post by Cindy »

Just acquired an Arthur Allison & Co piano, serial number 37085, which I believe makes it born on July 3, 2010, and sold in Bristol UK. It has made it's way to Victoria BC Canada, can anyone help on this?

Do you mean 1910? (but the serial number suggests 1909)

Only you will know the exact date it was born, if you have proof, and where it was sold, and how it ended its journey in Canada.

Yes, it should be around 1909, and it is probably dated on the keys, have a look at pianogen.org

No original archive material for Allisons is available to trace the history of individual pianos.
