Firth Bros piano

Post by csawood »

Hi, I was wondering if you could give me some information about an upright piano that I bought, I can't seem to find any information at all about its history.

The markings are Firth Bros Edmonton and the serial number is 17212 and it looks "art deco" ish! I just wondered if you could give me a bit of history as it looks quite an unusual piano.

There are two or three answers about Firth further down this list of postings. We don't know who made these pianos, and without photos I cannot comment. There may be clues inside, so have a look at pianogen.org
