How interesting, I didn't even know they were around in the 1900s, probably someone bought up the name.

Lighte's original firm went through various changes of name around 1848 to 1875, but I have no access to local history info on New York, you need a source over there - if one exists!

You are talking about a very different animal here! The Lighte & Co. is a twentieth-century player piano, Lighte & Newton were about in 1851. It would be interesting to see photos if you have any, but contact me as shown below, rather than posting to the forum.
