Seiler - Liegnitz
Hello,
I have bought a Seiler "yachting" piano made at Liegnitz (Germany) and I would like to know its age. Unfortunately, there is no date and no fabric number on it. The seller told me is was a 1900 piano, but the tuner thinks it was made in the 1960's (which is impossible, because Seiler left Liegnitz in 1944).
Could you please help me ?

If you email photos to me of the complete piano, unobscured by dogs, stools, vases etc., I may be able to get some idea of date. By "yachting Piano" do you mean it has a foldaway keyboard?

I doubt if this piano was made much before 1960, but have a look at pianogen.org

I don't know, I rarely see Seiler pianos. It is fairly common for pianos to mention towns that are not where they were made!
