Hi everybody, please find attached some pics of my piano, i aquired it several years ago and all i know is that it was left in an old rectory that a relative bought. Any info or opinions you have is much appreciated.

Not familiar with the makers name, probably a small factory name or establishment in Germany.
It looks German, over-strung & under-damped, and the design suggests early 1900's.
Typical of this period to have flower wood inlay in the centre panel.
The mechanism seems very neglected, and you may have a few dampers missing or damaged? so perhaps the odd note here and there below middle C will ring - on for a while. Check in the bottom of the piano to see if the damper heads are there.

"Academy Pianoforte Works" is not a German name, and in spite of the reference to Saxony, which suggests late 1800s, I think this looks like a typical London piano of about a century ago, as far as the outside appearance is concerned. There may be clues inside, so have a look at pianohistory.info
