I am looking for info about the piano maker W Collison of 1 Herbert Road
Shooters Hill
S E LONDON
I restore pedal reed organs with his name in the centre of the underside of the lid. Would be lovely to find out more of this firm.
Approx date 1870. The organ is of similar style to a Alexandre Harmonium. John Vallings Auckland NZ

His name cropped up some time ago on a piano - also in New Zealand. A strange coincidence? I couldn't find any such firm at the time, I will have another look.
