Gors and Kallmann
Hi All,
It'd be much appreceited if you could estimate the age of this piano, its a Gors and Kallmann, the previous owner thought it was 1930's which it looks like, but the serial number is unclear reading either 33913 or 39913
I thought most G&K's were in rosewood but this is mahogany and to add to the confusion it also has number of R3287 on the frame
Any help is much appreciated

Unfortunately neither of those numbers fit the serial numbers for G&K.
There are other numbers apart from serial numbers in pianos, and it could be a cabinet/ casework number. If the piano was dated around 1930, this should start with the serial number #66450 and up to and around #74XXX.
We may be able to date it approx. if you send a photo, including the internal mechanism.

The action makers' name and number may be marked on the action somewhere, and I may be able to date this. Otherwise, dating grands of the 1900s by appearance is almost impossible.
