Hartley / Methven

Post by Bill Kibby »

I have no record of a real maker called Hartley in London, and the most likely explanation is that it was made by one of the London wholesalers and sold by Methven Simpson with an alias. They became a Ltd. company in the early 1900s, so if yours doesn't say Ltd., it is probably before 1911. As for valuation, go to the top of the forum page and read.
