Knight K10

Post by Emmaw »

I purchased a Knight K10 in 2001, without enquiring as to the history of the piano. I am now interested in finding out an approximate age.
I have established that it is definetly a K10 - as per the frame inside. It has a number 23986 embossed in the wood in the bottom right corner, and 6023986 embossed in the metal frame in far top right side, as well as on the inside of the removable board in the front.
Is it possible to ascertain in what decade this particular piano was manufactured? Apart from the colourful emblem in the back of the piano, there is no other specific indication that it is a Knight . Hope someone can help shed some light!

Thanks

The number suggests that it was made in 1959.
