Post by michelli »

Could you tell me approximately how old this piano might be the serial number is 37232. I have the opportunity to buy it for $250.00. Would that be reasonable? THX

If that is the number, it suggests 1891, which is getting very old. The price sounds cheap if the tuner says it is in good condition, but it is worthless if it is untuneable. Another problem is that some Brinsmeads around that time used a different system of tuning, requiring special tools, but the tuner will advise you.
