Piano Miniature BRASTED
Hi,
I want to know the age & value of my miniature piano. I've been looking around on the internet & found out that this piano is a Belgian piano, but it was fabricated in England.
It is a Brasted Piano Miniature and it says also "Employé par LL AA RR La princess Elizabeth Princess Margret Rosé d'YORK". here is a picture of the thing i just wrote:
Thank you
Emil

"LL AA RR" means "their Royal highnesses". Brasted was a London maker, and did supply Eavestaff Minipianos to the Princesses. This particular piano was evidently intended for export, so it had the transfer printed in what appears to be French. That's why "Piano" comes before "Miniature", it's a Brasted Miniature Piano. If you can find a serial number inside it, we may be able to date it, otherwise have a look at pianogen.org
Is it "miniature" in any interesting way, or just a smallish upright piano? It would be interesting to see the whole piano.

Re: Piano Miniature BRASTED
Actually i don't own it yet, but i am about to buy it for €300, it's about £270.
So that's why i wanted to know more like the value & quality of the piano.
It's really a miniatute piano EXECTLY like this one:
In fact i think this is the one. Only with different numbers & such.
