I have just received an Albert Wagstaff upright piano with the number 12939. There is also a lable 'Shorrock & Shorrock' Music. Can anyone give me more information regarding the history of it's manufacturer?

We have no evidence that Wagstaff actually made pianos, and no dates of serial numbers are available. He was in business as a dealer from the late 1890s to at least the twenties in Manchester. Shorrock presumably sold the piano at some time. Have a look at
