Rogers, London

Hi there, i wonder if anyone would be so kind as to help me with a piano that i have?

The piano is marked Rogers of London and also has The Wigmore Hall and Piano Galleries on the front. I have found a number carved into the inside side of the piano and am wondering if this is the serial number? The number is 2197 which i have done a quick search for and came back with 1876 or before - surely this can't be right?

I have no idea about Pianos and want to sell it but don't know if it's worth a penny or a hundred pounds! Can anyone offer any help please?

I can't tell you the value. It seems to be a Rogers piano sold by the Wigmore Hall Galleries, but as far as numbers are concerned, it is rarely as simple as some websites would like you to think. Have a look at my page on the subject...
