Knight K20 Upright Piano

Post by Brooke Tate »

Hi Bill,
Could you please give me an idea of the age of the above piano I have recently purchased?
It has a reg design number 812773, and stamped in the wood behind the lower panel on the RHS, adjacent to the K20 stamp in the frame, is the number 15897.
Also, can you please explain what the different 'K' numbers mean?
Many thanks,
Brooke

The K numbers are just different models, but I do not have details of these. The number suggests 1955. Have a look at my Datemarks page at http://www.pianogen.org

If you find old references or links on this site to pianogen.org, they should refer to pianohistory.info

Thanks for such a speedy response. Older than I realised!
