The subject says it all really? HAs anyone heard of a stenson piano? or know anything about stenson pianos? I assume it's just a cheapo one, knocked out in mass production. Try as i might i can't find anything when i google it. Any help would be much appreciated!

could it just be a model of another brand?

I have been unable to find Stenson at all, but then, some lists are in order of towns or countries, and I have no idea where you are in the world. Is there any other information on it? Have a look at my Datemarks page at www.pianogen.org

Thank you so much for your time. I'm in the UK and have just taken a good look.
When i opened the lid i found L 104. Just above the keys is a little plaque that says J wood and Sons Ltd. Bradford, Huddersfield and SKipton.

Sorry i just keep thinking of things - are there such things as piano makes just particular to certain areas?

That particular Wood was around in the 1880s, I'll see what I can find on card and paper files about how long he survived.

Numbers don't help with this name. The pianos looks like early twenties.
