Knight piano

Post by jderosa »

Hi there, would you be able to give me any information (age, value, etc.) of the Knight piano I have recently purchased second hand?
There is a large number printed in black on the right hand side under the top lid, which is 69011. Then in the centre it says Reg design 812773, Knight british patents 477297 496082 538671. Thank you. Julie

P.s. there is also a sticker further down saying Langer 80, Herrburger brooks p l c

Design and patent numbers don't help. Here are some dates of Knight numbers, from pianos I have tuned. Each one is the earliest I have seen of that year. After 1979, I'm lost!

1967 #42500
1970 #47800
1971 #49400
1972 #50100
1973 #51900
1974 #54500
1975 #54700
1979 #62600
