T.G. Payne piano
I have a T.G. Payne piano serial number 21907. It is a very beautiful piano that needs tuning as having inherited this it was moved by a specialist mover to my home.
Does anyone know anything about this type of piano? It is dark mahogany in colour, has lovely carvings and is in good condition apart from the need of tuning.

Strangely, at some point after 1914, "T. & G. Payne" became shortened to "T.G. Payne". They became "T.G. Payne Ltd." around 1921. The need for tuning doesn't necessarily mean it is capable of being tuned!
