Looks to have made a nice job and the finish will be quite distinctive. Are the black embellishments a Libyan style?

What kind of final finish will it have?

the black embellishments are more Egyptian than Libyan. as for the final finish, i'm thinking about a dull finish that will just preserve the look. the cabinet maker mentioned the name, and it's nothing i can find a technical translation for. these are the original sides btw. The cabinet maker insisted he could save them, and he was right...
