Stultz & Bauer New York grand piano
Hi,
I recently acquired a Stultz & Bauer New York grand piano. I know absolutely nothing about pianos. I would like to get any information that I can on this piano. I did find a number inside the piano. It is stamped on a piece underneath a piece that has round circles or holes cut out of it. Sorry, I don't know any of the technical names for parts. Maybe these pics can help

If this is not a serial number, where else should i look for numbers? Thanks for your help.

Your photos don't show anything at all about the piano except the number, and I can't tell you if it is the serial number, we don't see S&B this side of the ocean. If it is the serial number, it suggests that the piano was made in 1891, but the published information is questionable. Photos of the whole piano may help me.
