Earphones for digital piano - recommendations please
First off, I'm no expert, I have a simple Casio Privia and I just play (badly) for my own enjoyment.
I'm looking for recommendations for earphones. Most come with a cable that's just a bit too short, the standard seems to be 1-1.2m which ties me to the LHS of the keyboard. 1.5m is far more comfortable to use with a piano.
Can anyone recommend me a make/model that would suit? I'm happy to pay a reasonable amount for sound quality, I'm not looking for something under 10€ - but not wanting to go to 100 either.
Unfortunately, often on websites and even on the packaging itself, cable length is missing as though irrelevant, which is why I thought I'd ask here as I'm sure many of you have the same issues.
Many thanks

Re: Earphones for digital piano - recommendations please
I like Beyer and Sennheiser headphones. If the ones you choose don't have a long cable, just get a 1/4" stereo jack extension lead from your local music shop or the 'net. The only thing to check is the recommended impedance - if it's not in your manual, you might have to call Casio for that.

Most earphones come with the short, coiled cable.
Get the extension jack cable which you should be able to find at most music (instrument) dealers or audio dealers.

Thanks both - I hadn't thought of an extension cable and will have a look when the shops re-open tomorrow.
A little pair that came free with a laptop have a 1.5m cable (i measured it because it's perfect) - the problem is they're they little plug type things that pop out if you cough or even breath too deeply.

It's the bits in my ear which pop out - I don't think I'd get a very good grip with blu tac!
ETA....though maybe a hat crammed on tightly on top would help to secure them?

Thank you! They're available in pixmania, they're well within the price range i was hoping for - and according to the page the cable is 3m - sounds perfect!

Just to say thanks again, I now have my Sennheiser headphones and just as you said, they sound good and they're comfortable.
I'm delighted and I suspect my neighbours are even more so.
