Does anybody have any experience of this? I had a look at the website below and thought it looked good. I'm just a bit concerned the pace might be a bit slow. It takes about 12 lessons before they get to play skips/thirds for example. Because it's not on sale in Uk, I can't go and leaf through it and it's quite pricey to get from the US. I bought Music Tree like that and I don't think I will end up using it. The first 18 pieces are played with just one finger in each hand and you only play skips between hands, which hardly counts. This just seems unnecessarily slow to me. So I'm keen to avoid making the same mistake twice. But feel free to try and persuade me that that kind of pace isn't too slow! I'm only a novice teacher as yet and so far have been using Chester's easiest piano course and am teaching 5-7 yr olds. This I think is too fast really, so I'm supplementing it with other material.
