Hi there, newbie to the site and was just after some advice.
After years of wanting, I'm finally going to learn the piano. My parents have one, so I can play some pieces, although its been a while and haven't really touched it in the last 7 years.
Anyway, I'm after a piano teacher, and although I can find lots of names and numbers I was just wondering if someone could recommend one? I'm in the Kidderminster area (DY10), so anywhere around there would be good. I intend to take ABRSM exams, although I would be interested in learning a variety of music.
Also, how much should I be paying, and how often should I need lessons?
Many thanks for any advice you can give!
