Getting a stool renovated

Post by Model V »

Hi,

My school's piano stool needs doing up. It's potentially quite nice - adjustable and upholstered in fake leather. It needs:
Making shiny black
Re-upholstering
The top is a bit loose.

Anyone who can do this in striking distance of Derby? Or should I just get a new stool? :?

Cheers,

MV

I would try a local polisher they often reupholster as well, but sadly you may find it cheaper to buy new

Try a furniture upholsterer - go for the ones who do commercial work such as pub furniture rather than the top end like the antique furniture restorers and upholsterers.

However it may as stated be cheaper to buy a new one - there's someone doing leather covered ones on Ebay for £60. I know someone who got one and is wasn't at all bad for the price.
