By all means send me a sound file, but labelling styles is a very difficult area, there are far more styles than labels, and one man's R&B is another man's swing.

This is indeed a very complex subject and even some musicians as Bill says have dirrering opinions as to the style(s) of music. It is made complicated by the fact that within a particular style, Jazz, R&B etc. there are different types within the main catagories.
