new years resolution

Post by joseph »

I think my new years resolution should be to give up the piano, give up piano teaching, and go in to a job that actually pays decent money.

new years resolutions:

Get a job :? ( if anyone will employ me )

Pass grade 1 ! :)

Try to get my dad to like listening to Chopin...

I tried him with the balades and he didn't even like those!
'Its very piano' he said or: 'its very thumpy'. Chopin Thumpy!?, and I heard his music should be anything but thumpy!

When (if) I get a job, buy my upright! 8)

Odd bit of falseness here and there, but that'll probably play out (now I've got a bit of time to actually PLAY it) and it had some rogue beats before anyway. Few sticky notes - because they've been rebushed and I haven't played it enough! But no, I'm very pleased, Apart from the G below middle C that went walkies overnight and now means I have to move 3 cwt of music, papers, books, cats, lights, busts (Beethoven & Mozart, not mine...), and general detritus...

Be more sensible and less paranoid. I can't promise I can do it though. Ha !
