I own this piano, but have recently moved and the piano is now a bit too big. I need to sell it and get something smaller, but I need information so I can tell whether dealers are trying to deceive me. Thanks in advance for any help you can give me. A recommendation for a nice smaller piano would also be helpful.

The number suggests 1897. What sort of information are you looking for about this piano?

Any chance you could post (or email me) a picture?

Thanks for your responses. I am looking for info on location of manufacture, whether Bluthner is a good name (although I realise this is not a guarantee of quality) etc.

Thanks

Good name? It's one of the best, and most famous, established in Leipzig, Germany 1853. However, it is the condition which needs to be investigated, and for that, you need to get your friendly local tuner round.
