My cat wants a stroke too, she thinks i dont love her anymore
I didn't really expect an answer, I'm just being a nosey bugger, especially as I have family in that neck of the woods, in fact, I'll be there soon on a visit. I reminds me that there is still a world outside Dorset

Piano lesson pretty good really. She seemed pleased with me. I had attempted my theory homework, practiced c both hands, and just about got there with the first bars of 'mozzie'.
She wants me to learn to about bar 12 of moz now and start another one called 'snowdrop' or something, aaargh!
My in laws are good, it's my lot that are the problem!

What do you need to brush up on?
When were you thinking of taking the exam?

I get the whole self esteem thing, as you know. Everyone has some worth, it's just different for each person.
You and Teresa sound like kind, generous people. Just that is huge. Being able to tinkle a tune is just a little bonus.
A teacher will explain the exam business and make it clearer.

A quick visit to the forum tonight, as Master Ivory has a headache and is throwing up, so I need to be a responsible parent and look after him.
I might get a bit of piano practice in later, hopefully. I am feeling quite excited about learning the pieces at the moment.

And Dave it's ok to make fun of yourself, I mock myself all the time, but we both have someone that loves us, so we can't be that bad. I am a lard  too! I will deal with that one day, but not today!!!

Yeah losing weight is an issue for me too. Keep trying half heartedly, I like food, what can I say. Might be a good idea, although I feel I need some sort of cognitive therapy to make me lose weight.
Even though I am bunged up, I did practice for about twenty minutes earlier. teach has set me quite a lot to do by next wednesday so will need to put the time in over the weekend.

Will take years to catch you up!
Will be back on tomorrow some time.
As well as this, I have editted the postings on this thread to reflect the alterations made. As dave has done, I would ask all members to forward concerns about offensive postings to me as the Moderator for this forum (see FAQ section for specific forum guidelines). Posting speculation and complaints about the postings directly onto the public forums only draws more attention to these posts and their respective posters. This of course is their ultimate goal anyway so please forward any future concerns about posts on this forum to me directly, via PM, and not on the forum itself.
Thanks folks!

I feel a bit embarrassed now as I am a bit of a goody goody and don't like doing the wrong thing.
I thought 'it' looked a bit odd but didn't know how to deal with it. I kind of hoped you would read it then take action, but I know Dave got in touch, so all is good.
Once again a big sorry!

The men of the house have gone to golf so I will get some practice in while they're not about. Don't feel like it, but if I don't, I will be rubbish at my next lesson. It feels like my teacher is pushing me on a bit faster now. Must try not to wig out and keep practicing.
You don't need to feel embarrassed about that!ebonyivory wrote:Thankyou Markymark and sorry for getting it wrong.
If you PM me, it links directly to one of my e-mail addresses.
Although I don't always get a chance to see the forum each day, I do check my e-mail everyday and if there are problems I can make a point of sorting them out. It's just a practicality really more than anything else.
You and Mrs Brum should have started you own party and rattled all the harder against the wall! You must have very thin walls in your house, then?dave brum wrote:What a friend we have in Marky.....
I had another crap night's sleep so I feel like a hippo's ass this morning. Our new neighbours were having sex at 2am and I couldn't get back off to sleep afterwards, but neither could my wife and she had to go to work this morning at 7.
