Paterson / Squire

Post by Bill Kibby »

I'm guessing that the word "FOR" belongs somewhere else, and the piano was made for Paterson by Squire. Paterson, Sons & Co. were in Glasgow from at least 1886-1936, although the original Edinburgh firm was much older. Squire was at Stanhope Street by 1870, and the factory was destroyed in the Second World War. A closer inspection or photos would be necessary to try to deduce more from the piano.
